Day 8 - Suðurey II (South island)
Painted with Oil Pastels on Oil Pad 15x24cm.
I gave in to the flu last night so decided in doing one painting at home instead of "plein air". One might think I was obsessed with this island, yes, it does interest me because of its shape.

Thank you so much Ana for your well wishes and comment. It is much easier to paint with oils than the those oil sticks, maybe I should try turps for easier flow, I am still experimenting. Have a good day.:)

I like the reflections in the water in this one with oil pastels, but the sky is more effective in the last painting in oil/acrylic. I wish you get well soon.Take care of yourself! Cheers, Ana
