This is my second attempt at Suðurey. I was a beautiful day again but the sun had moved more to the back on the island so had to guess the forms. Michael Severin pointed out a few things regarding the painting and I thank him for those pointers and tried to do better. It is too flat in paint application though but I decided to stop for the day.

And Good Morning to your too Michael, thank you for that. Just curious, why cover it with liquin, why not paint straight on top??
Good Morning Steinunn. Yes, but make sure it is dry. Just use a cheap throw away foam brush or pour some liquin on the painting and spread with a paper towel.
Thank you Michael for all you comments and advice which I accept gratefully.
Do you mean to brush the painting with liquin before I start with another layer of paint? If so, I think I might just paint another one yet!
Thank you for your comment Jessica and Silvana glad you like it.
Really like it Steinunn!
I like this one much better too!! .....if you want thicker paint, let this dry, put some liquin on it, ...load up your brush, and go to town!!! :)) You already have solved all of the stuff ..composition, value, edges, color, etc. ...so now all you need to concentrate on is juicy brushwork!!! ...you are going to have a ball doing that!!!
I like this one much more, Steinunn; it's really a difficult subject! It looks very mysterious here.
Thank you kindly Linda, much appreciated.
