Hey Jon another very realistic painting from you Agree with Elfrida re the chook to the Right but actually didnt notice it until I read the comment and went back and had another look then it stood out.

Really like your front two chickens. Lovely lost edges in the front brown one to the left. I find he chicken to the immediate right of the black chicken doesn't read so well around its neck - no separation from the head. Enjoy the variety of your general brush work, your shadows. Very nice.

Love the brush strokes on the black chook in the foreground. looks like his feathers are getting a little ruffled by the wind. Makes for great movement :)
