11"x12", oil on canvas. This is based on a pastel sketch I did last year in Laguna Beach, CA. Sunsets are spectacular there.

Beautiful, Darya. The way you've managed to bring in the carmine is quite lovely. It works beautifully into the yellows and the soft orange glow around the headland. I really like that you resisted the urge to mirror those colours in the foreground. It captures the moment where the light is retracting, fleeting. Well done.
