This is a commission I did this month. It didn't have a sunset in it until I used Richard's glazing technique. I also darkened the landscape, since that is what happens in a sunset. I liked the way it turned out, Thank you Richard.

The deep colors give a good depth to this painting. Well balanced values and nice evening colors. The deck appears to have lit from an artificial light source from behind to illuminate the deck at this time of the day. Very well done Sandra. I like to be there.

Love this with the hills and perspective.  Maybe the far mountain could be toned down a bit? I love the mountains around Chatanooga. I used to live in Nashville and miss the hills, etc. Loved it when we ould go to the Smokey's.
