This is an oil on canvas pad (ugh!!! just for practice) after William Trost Richard's "Rocky Surf" using complementary blue/green-red/orange palette with a bit of Naples Yellow for good measure (and a touch of Alizarin Crimson).

Love the sense of light and movement in this, also the green/blue is a great energetic ocean color
