It always works that way for me...lol. Sometimes I post anyway. I added a couple of sheep in front headed in a southwest direction to bring the eye back inward...I hope. :) Thanks again! If you get a chance, please look at my painting "The Glowing"...it needs new eyes on it. I see problems, but I also tend to over analyze. I worked from a B&W...kind of a personal challenge to reach beyond what I see and know.
Debby, amazing how you see things in your own paintings, but AFTER you post them. Of course if you cropped them out that changes your composition. Some artists call the edges of the picture the "No Fly Zone". I find if I go all around the edges or my painting when I think I am finished, I will spot those demons and clean them up. Stu
Hi Stuart, thanks for you observation. The good news is...I cropped the photo and those little guys don't actually wander off the canvas. I did intend for more sheep in that group and I think maybe ought to add a few in front so they don't look like a line. I appreciate the feedbaaaaaahk! :)
Debby, beautiful scene, but your sheep are all lined up in a row and they just take your eye right out of the picture on the right. Makes you wonder what's over there. Rearranging them and keeping them away from the edge will strengthen your painting. Stu
