this is my first time paint rocks and ocean waves. it is so difficult for me.

Thank you Donna, Jessica, Michael for you comments. Michael, you gave me a very valid point here. I could have left the middle rock out in this painting. For the fix, I will change the color of the middle rock and water around it a little.

Your rocks and water are very, very, well done!!! .....Compositional wise though,  you do not want that big rock in the middle,  you do not need it.  If you really want it there, then make it subordinate to the other rocks  (smaller, soft edges, some spray concealing some it, and toned way down.  Make sure you bounce some of the blue water color into the rocks and the rock colors into the sea.

Looks beautiful - your photo is a bit blurry though I think, so can't see it properly.    I think you caught the movement of the waves really well.

I think you did very , very well. Rocks are my nemesis.
