Could work Larry. I am  far, far, far from being a knowledgeable voice to be read, but imagining on how it would turn out, I think that a dark green, specially in what would be the cactus' shaded area would look great. Shadows and light in that stormy night is really a challenge!

Thanks Silvana.  I used a pretty simple pallet on this one.  Burnt umber, dioxazine purple, ultramarine blue, a little cad yellow light in the clouds, and titanium white.  I'm thinking of working a little green in the cactus.  What do you think?

I love lightning bolts and thunderstorms(without serious consequences)... I like your painting too, specially the clouds! I am struggling with those nimbus at the moment! You have used crimson haven't you Larry?
