Acrylic on canvas 13 1/2" x 10 1/2"
We are currently away in Far Western Queensland and this is the view from one of our bush camps on the banks of the Thomson River. We camped here for 4 or 5 days a couple of weeks ago. I wish I could say that it's a plein air painting, but it isn't. I painted it from a photograph that I took. We were very lucky to be able to camp there as only two days later after we had left, the rains came (in the middle of a drought) and would have no doubt turned our camp site into a mud pit.
