They are more like children's watercolors.  They come already in a small pan.  I will take a picture and post it for you. You wet them and wait until they start to soften in order to get deeper colors.

That is interesting.  I know there are pan pastels, but I don't know pan watercolors.  How does it work?  You still use water to mix them right?

Thank you Li. I used pan watercolors for this. You can get some nice deep colors.
