My favorite also. Your value plain is great with the far hills moving away from us with nice receding values, just a little dark fading into mid. The warm color you have used on the buildings set them out nicely from the rest of the painting. Your path is lovely with correct perspective, it appears flat, nice use of light and shadow, and lots of yummy broken color for the light. The light forms an abstract shape in the bushes which also adds to setting the warm scene.
Thank you Stu, Larissa for your nice comment!
Stu, you are right, I will add roof extension on houses, specially for the house on the right. Thanks!
Nice deep background color and light foreground. Nice!
Best of the three, Laura. Good work. You need a little more overhang of your roofs (so that rain doesn't get into the buildings); build your roofs out a little more and put a little more shadow underneath the overhang. This overhang is noticeably absent in the middle building's side facing the road. I like your road with the shadow across it, but darken and warm the road in the foreground to give more depth to the painting.
Thank you very much Cristina, Jessica! I was struggled with both side hills so much. I am still not very happy with that specially on left side. But I just made worse.
Beautiful colour & light!
Gorgeous!!
