Oh, not clouds ..snow .... sorry.  I commented about color and value on your other version of this painting, but the colors and values look different on this one .... photography issue?  Anyway, if it is the photo, then please disregard my comments on your newly posted  version of this. :))  .... except for the straight line of those trees ... I am sticking with that.

Hi, Joy - thanks - I see what you mean - dunno if I can sort that, hmmmm  - the mountain on the right bothers me more - rather than adjusting it I'm half-way through a new verson - fingers crosssed it comes out a bit better!

Thanks Ann and Jessica! - got a few issue to try and resolve - so thanks for the pointers -apart from all the possible adjustments, there was a tree in the foreground I left out! and I don't know whether to try and put it in, hmmm....

What a beautiful scene, Jon!  Love the light in this & the interesting lines of the rooftops. Also that figure on the road adds a lot.  Maybe you could make the tree line less of a straight line on the sunny side, showing the mountain here & there through it?

Nice composition Jon. I like your defined areas of shadow and light then down the road with your figure. Don't do much more to it just some sparkles of light here and there.
