you have a very strong vanishing point at the end of the road and river there.. i would put a little indication of a bird there too..

Actually, good idea Jon.....it is just that the change from warm to cool happens too abruptly.....there needs to be a transition there.

Arggh, I changed it to try and make the nearer tree branches seem to be in front of the further ones - bad idea then. OK thanks!

Very nice Jon!! ....Good composition.  I would like to see a more subtle transition in your right hand trees as they go back into the distance.  Why would it turn to gray violets so dramatically at the 6th tree?
