Well done Marina, strong notan, lovely greys and expressive brushwork. I really like the light through that yellow grass on the left and the lost and found edges around it. Good job.

I like your soft colors that are accurate for the South west. Great job at letting each brush stroke be beautiful by itself and then adding to the over all beauty of the painting. I enjoy color and would like to see some warm orange or burnt sienna added to the dark shape on the left and a lighter shade on the ridge on the right.  I think it called Valley of fire for a reason. Nice composition and completion of the assignment.
