w31 2 pears

my third attempt at the broken color exercise:
I forgot to take a photo of the setup & moved it!! oops
1. original study, colors blocked in
2. broken color - added red-orange, then orange, then magenta..not so very different/striking
3. added phthalo turquoise..nicer effect I think..could punch it up some, but how?
This was fun!! I'm looking forward to critiques..again yucky bg!!! Not sure what to do with that!!
