Oil 28cm x 28cm. I thought that the sand at the front would be pretty straightforward! But I had to give up on it in the end. Richard's oh so easy looking details are definitely the important part of this picture and very hard to achieve.

I definitely agree with you about the sand being tough!!  But your glowing light is beautiful and you definitely captured the feel of the ocean.  I like you reflective wet sand, too!  Great painting
