Looks like something out of a fairytale!
Michael, thanks so much. Your comments/critique are very much appreciated. (Another one of those "stories")
Very nice Carolyn. Your color harmonies are beautiful!!! Your figure in the red dress compliments the analogous color scheme, and is repeated in the sky and water. ...repeating that color somewhere in the foreground would be good...but no big deal. Anyway, very good painting. :)
Thank you for your kind words of approval and the compliment, so appreciated, Jessica!
Hi Carolyn - I really like the changes you've made! Especially the soft light on the foreground water & rocks. Very peaceful scene & it doesn't look like a first landscape painting at all!
I reposted this image once I discovered how to desaturate the colors in photoshop. Karlo had suggested that I make to sun smaller, and I've done that. I also increased the yellow and orange reflections in the foreground. Sorry I lost the comments and likes, from the first time around! Thanks to you all for your suggestions and nice comments.
