Jessica,  this is beautiful!!  Your gradations of color and value are right on!!!  I love the way you made the headland glow in the warm light of the setting sun.  Your reflections on the water is so good!!  I just love the way you gradated  both horizontally and vertically ..I put a lot of emphasis on gradation as you see!  The man and his dog tell the story without a lot of embellishment ......your down playing of all the elements, really sets the story and mood of this painting.  I wish I was more eloquent in my comments because this painting deserves it!!!  ..FRAME IT!!

Jessica, I sort of like it.  It has a quite soft quality about it.
