Oil on canvas, 12"x12". This is my "by the video" version. Hoping to do a couple more around the color wheel.

Thank you Robin, and I agree only RR takes me (us) to a drawing board not visited before! And that learning curve is exactly the point. Waiting so long to paint again, I wanted to have an accelerated growth, and boy is that happening! Very good journey here. (The "aching eyeballs" comment was regarding the crazy color scheme of the new one, however, that does apply to video/canvas eyestrain as well, lol!)

You have done such a good job here! It's lovely Carolyn. I know what you mean by the aching eyeballs. Richard's workshops are very challenging and take you right back to the drawing board but exciting what you discover in the process. Haven't had time to start this one yet.

One day' ugly can be turned to be another day's beauty. No worry! We enjoy the learning process. Happy painting my dear friend!

You are a sweetheart, Laura! As to my "next beauty?" Well my eyeballs are already aching and I just started. I wanted to go beyond what others have been doing, so I opted for ugly rather than pretty...ever seen lime-green water? How about a red-violet sun reflection?? Yep, I've got em', My color harmony (dis-harmony!) is Red-Violet and it's compliment; Yellow Green. Yuk! But I'm going to see it through. If it is too disgusting, I might not post it though! lol!!

I am looking forward to see your next beauty!
