This one is closer to the real painting. Water soluble oils on linen. From a photo taken just before we left Croagnes in Provence a couple of weeks ago.

@Jon - Touraine is beautiful too, but the light is so much better down there! Today there is snow everywhere - it's lovely, but I'm not going outside to paint it.
Hi, Casey. I'm north of Avignon - so we're getting close. Personally , I 'd rather paint the Touraine than here !

Hi Jon, are you in Provence? We just bought a summer home near Saint Saturnin - where are you? The weather was not perfect, but way better than up here in Touraine.....Looking forward to spending more and more time down there.
