Awfully dark, Robin. If it's just the photo, no problem, but if your painting is this dark, you won't have much light in your sky. The glaze always darkens the value. The grisaille usually needs to be a half to one full tone lighter than your final painting will be, especially in the dark areas. Try and lighten it a bit. Stu
