Mixable oil 23x19 cm. I ‘ve done this black and white study prior to start the workshop painting. If there are any comments or observations, please don’t hold back. I am eager to improve. Cheers, Ana

Hi Ningning, thank you for your doze of confidence. You are wright , I am blessed. You know, it does amaze me when sometime my hand put down a stroke with out any thought and any deliberation, like it has it's own mind, and is the wright stroke in the wright place. I do not have to revisit that stroke, if I do I will for sure ruin it. When it happens, it sounds crazy, tears come in to my eyes. Well Ningning, this was a mighty confession, especially coming from me a quiet private person. So, I guess there is the time  when I get lost into details. In my case it is an addiction driven in quest for the perfect stroke. But in the end , yes, you are very right, it is a blessing. Thank you again for helping me seeing it. Cheers, Ana

Ana, that is also a blessing. Not everybody be able to do what you did. You are not lost into details but good at it. Trust youself and be youself as we are all differently designed by God. You have a very keen observation and know how to express it. Richard sometimes paint fantastic details too. As Fay said that we"love your attention to detail".

Thank you Fay, for your lovely comment. I learn a lot from this study, but as you noticed I got lost into details. That is my problem. I am addicted to details.

Hi Ann, that was not planned. Because I did not do a preliminary draw on the papier, that was the first brush and my thought was that I am going to do another B&W study more detailed. Therefore, I ignored the mast angle. However, I got sucked in into details on this one and here it is.
