another gorgeous one
Filled with sunlight....and beautiful trees........and so painterly.............I really enjoy your paintings !!!
I love how you handle your brushwork!
Michael, Thank you for the answer.
And Thank you for encouraging us, particularly me, but I do believe the talent in art.
thank you everyone, hope my little "lesson" helps? Laura, I do not believe "talent" has anything to do with it ...dedication and hard work is the key. To answer you question about premixing colors: No, it is not a "better" way. Some artists do it and some do not. Richard Schmid says not to premix, but some famous artists do ..like Scott Christensen.......I will premix some of my major colors .like the sky, my darks, some greens, or any color that I will use a lot of ..like on a mountain.....But ..those premixed colors will always be "bent" one way or another.
I am thinking if premix piles of colors for each part of the painting is better way to see the relationship between light, dark, warm, cool?
Great to learn and so much to learn! Michael so much wants us turn iron into steel. It is not just hard work but talent too.
Super wow Michael!!!! What a lesson!
