I am a bit late entering Workshop33 but here it is. I could not get the red that Richard talked about so used Vermilion hue, do not know if it makes any difference. I started ok with the mountains I thought but had a bit of a difficulty finish the bottom part. This was a new experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed. And Richard, I hope you do not mind "no sheep".

Thank you very much Laura and the comment on my painting.
Happy BirthdaySteinunn!
The mountains you have done beautifully!
Love the depth of color in the mountains, they fade away at the top perfectly !
Thank you very much Michael!!
Thank you for commenting on my painting, yes I realize that Vermillion is a warm color but I thought since the palette had a cool Magenta it might be ok. Thanks again for taking your time on my paintings, I really value that a lot.
Wishing you a great weekend.:)
Happy Birthday Steinunn!! :))) A very nice job on your painting!! ...mountains are great!! Vermillion is okay, except that it has yellow in it ...which is okay too ...just need to be careful and not make mud when you mix it with blues. Looks like you did okay here though!!
Thank you for that Jon.
Thank you very much Olivia.
I agree with your analysis - the mountains are great
Very nice rendition Steinunn. I like the soft foreground
Thanks a lot for your comment Betsy, yes, I think we can just be happy with our effort.
