I really need this excise.  All my paintings are so busy and lack of clear value structure.  Look at Richard's demo, every brush stroke of his was so well thought off and had a purpose and clear focus, either cooler or warmer, lighter or darker.  They were so structured.  Amazing! I also like this blue and yellow contract.  I just like everything here, so I just copied everything. But as you can see, I could not do it right at the first stroke. I have to go back and mangled with them later.  All of those small brush strokes tell the story, but I did started with a big brush. :)
