Very nice,hw many colors you have on the palette? You are master!!!Thank you
Yes this is great city scape!!!Full of details and light.Tony
Thank you all for you comments and particularly Bob for some very good advice. I have a tendency not to use a warm enough yellow to mix for my lights in a sunny day scene. For awhile I took cad yellow light completely off my palette and used cad yellow warm or indian yellow only, but I have been using Hansa yellow medium and I think that may be the problem. Stu
Sure is realistic
Great color, perspective, like the red mustang!
Great painting Stuart ! I like the flags to. They add movement of a breezy day. I also like the traffic light by the tree on the left side. It lets you know that the cars are moving. It's a very nice rendering of the hotel.
Stu, this is a very nice painting, congratulations, a real winner. I love the flags, thats a real nice touch, and that cheeky palm sticking up above the building, love it.
If I could make one observation! This is obviously a bright sunny day and I just wonder if you could have capitalised on that even more. There are a couple of things that I know of to do this. One is making the the tones high key, the other is to exaggerate the highlights and shaddows. Anyway, its always easy to say but hard to acheive. Having said that I LOVE your painting, it has the grab factor definitely, good job Stuart.
Regards, Bob
Nice as always. The brush work in the sky is very nice.
Thank you Debby and Ann. Stu
