wow, you really have it all together - fabulous!
Thank you Jane for the information on your color palette. Your sense of color to show light is very special !
really lovely!!
Very beautiful!
It is so natural, and easy to walk into this painting.
Of course, not at all Ann! I really appreciate your interest.
My usual palette is Lemon Yellow, Cad Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cad Orange, Cad Red, Crimson, Ceruleen blue, Cobalt Blue,Phthalo Blue,Black and White.
But this time I used only these: Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre,Cad Orange,Cad red,Crimson,UB and white.
I premixed "Turning Grey Yellowish" myself for the first Yellow toned painting though, this time I didn't.
I mixed white and hint of Cad orange and Yellow ochre for the peachy sunny bank.
and.. for the purple shadow, I mixed white and hint of UB,Crimson and yellow Ochre.
I think I'm a little bit addicted to use purple, when I paint.
For the pink roof, I mixed white and little bit of Cad Red, Crimson and hint of UB.
I attached unfinished painting of this for you.
I have been studying your soft colors. Lots of nice greyed pinks both warm and cool versions. Like the peachy sunny bank with the purplie sshadows. Would you mind sharing your palette and how you mix these soft colors?
What a nice soft painterly painting!
