You really did pick a challenging photo to paint. Well done!
I like the compositional lines forming an "S" curve. You have a dominant direction and a nice counter direction. Be careful of equal intervals ...i.e.: the shore line and top line of the buildings are the same angle. Maybe a little variety in the direction the boats are facing ..remember: Repetition with VARIETY. That first boat at the bottom right corner, could be pointed INTO the painting ..that way, we follow that direction instead of off to the right. :))
