Oil on canvas panel 11" by 14" A lot more detail in this layer. A few tweaks, refinements, uncloning of some shapes and details yet to go to finalize paintings. Any tips, suggestions and comments are welcome.

Hi Stu
Your Grand Canyon-Revised is awsome. Now there is more of depth in it with the softening of edges in distance and color adjustment.
Very interesting to see how your painting developed.........dor:))
arriving late to the party - love this but i'd like to see the far horizon softened a little - more depth - i know you're not done - i wish i'd had time to do this one!
Have always had my days and night mixed up! Now finally in my old age (giggle) I can do as I darn well please and yes it pleases me to stay up and paint. : ))
Stu
I am laughing out loud because after seeing this and commenting.............I then saw your final and you did what I suggested.......LOL.................Smiles.........dor:)) Oh Stu with all the PC problems, and problems downloading I have not had any time to paint. It is now almost 6 AM central time........and I never went to bed........I've been painting the canyon..............: ))
Hi Stu
You have put your heart and soul into this! When have you had the time? I am still working hard but not getting any results..........I will keep trying..........smiles to you.........dor:))
My only suggestion is to soften some hard edges on the rocks, I think it would put them in the distance more......
Gary, thanks a lot. I just posted my final and I listed my color palette. Sti
Very nice work Stuart, Can I ask what your color palette is?
