12x15 in. Acrylic using the Zorn Pallet - yellow ochre with a touch of cad yellow, cad red, black and white. Lots of various greys here and they look quite blue in places but there is no blue paint used at all.

This is lovely and very peaceful. I like the muted colors and the atmospheric perspective that draws the viewer into the background.

Love the Anders Zorn pallet. Very nice painting Hazel.  Going to give it a go on my next portrait.

Great job of taking the viewer back into the painting with atmospheric perspective. Color harmonies are great !

Thanks folks - I think I've found the right colours to mix for our New Zealand native bush!!! Black, yellow ochre light with sometimes a touch of red.
