We met at the FCA Gabriola workshop this past year! I am the other Theriault gal.

Put on the coffee, I'm on my way over for a good cry. The son-in-law refuses to go anywhere close to the Mexican border! All because of the drug cartel war! We are even going to skip the Texas valley with the World Birding Center and "wonderful" birds! Plan B is to head to Port Aransas near Corpus. There are birds there too. That would be Mustang Island. Awwwwwwwwww, sorry. My intent was to bring back fond and fun memories to you. This little "chicken" girl has not ventured out for the plein aire as yet. I keep making some really good excuses to myself though. he he Back when I was doing WC, we did take the motorhome out in the valley along the road leading from the visitor's center to the side of the park that has The Village campground. You know one of the big pull offs on the valley floor. I did 2 paintings that day. I had actually forgotten about doing those. I hope to visit my friend that has a house in Lajitas this trip, and I will get pictures. It was back in a time where I was trying to do colorful paintings. Wild colors! I thought they were very pretty. Ro

I would have been nervous too to paint infront of people. I guess you can be putting the finishing touches on a mostly finished painting. I could do that. LOL I should that it would be an honor to be ask to paint as a demo at Plano Int.Fest. Congratulations. No, I see you did a demo. What exactly did you do? Did you take a photo to show? Ro

I too am new (just a few weeks) to the site. A friend kept telling me about Richard until I finally paid attention. Do look and click on everything to see what is offered, and by all means sign up for Richard's free lessons. They are so good. He also has videos on youtube. I have become so impressed with Richard I could "lead the band wagon!" LOL I am currently working on a painting of an egg. The one I settled on is an egg with satan draped over it. (I think).
