Do you have any goals for your painting?

Have always been good at drawing. Never have been able to learn painting techniques. Am trying at present to develop the skills such as being able to clearly see values and the proper mixing of colors. Lot to learn, but more than that, finding the time to spend that is necessary to truly learn. I am particularly inclined to landscapes, ocean scenes and old buildings with texture. Just hope to get pretty good someday and hopefully teach a free painting class for those who may be interested in this wonderful activity. It's just fun to be around other painters.
