OK Micki, I found you! Welcome to the complete artist. This site is pretty social with a lot of feedback from artists all over the world. First you need to post your picture, so that people can see you. Next put up some of your work by adding it to the gallery. You will get some comments and make friends. You already know a number of people on this site that you have met on Wet Canvas Live: Hazel Persson, Vida Evenson, Jose Cedeno, Barbara Sawyer, Doris Aronson, Donna Spears Lauzon and of course me. I know there are others as well because I see paintings from Jo's landscape photo library pop up. Please consider joining the monthly competition, it definitely pushes your boundaries. Feel free to comment on others work. What I usually do, when I see interesting work from an artist that I do not know, is to check out their page and very carefully make some comments. Some artists absolutely want input and help, others do not. Often if you help someone, as you frequently do on Wet Canvas Live, they will invite you to be a friend. The only way to send private messages on this site is to become friends. Richard occasionally comments on postings but mainly critiques 5 or 6 of the competition entries to make teaching points. Each of his competitions has a lesson for you to learn and there is often a lot of back and forth chatting in the workshop comments. This site is quite different from Wet Canvas and definitely more social. Glad to find you here. Stu
