How would you categorize your painting style?: new painter

Which medium do you prefer? eg. oils, acrylics, etc.: acrylics and oil

Are you a full time artist?: Full Time

Who are your favourite 2 artists?: don't know too knew and can't decide what style I like. Have been doing animals in photo realism in acrylic but am very interested in the way you paint. Taking a workshop this weekend with oil. Particularily like your paintings tht have more relism as in people and boats and such

Do you have any goals for your painting?: I have the ability to paint full time and have not been painting. My goal is to stop being scared and paint my heart out. Have just joined virtual art academy as well. I want to know my style and medium and be able to pick a picture with ease. I have only painted from pics and find even drawing a challenge in real life.

I do like the idea of picking something to paint together and then doing self critiques. Sounds like fun. I am actually getting ready to paint right now (last assignment piece for color matching , I am behind you) and then I will be doing my final piece for workshop A over the weekend. I am heading out to do a plein air this Saturday down by a creek with some falls. I'll be hitting workshop B next week, hopefully.
