Nicely done. I'd repeat what Sandra mentioned and maybe a bit more contrast in the trunk. Repeat some of the green in the leaves on the water and a more definitive light source direction. Looks like its coming from slightly behind/right. Punch up the brights on a couple leaves and maybe the right side roots.  I don't think there is a painter out there that doesn't forget the do's and don'ts from time to time. Joys of peer reviews. They see what we miss.

Thanks Sandra, Pauline and Terry for for comments! I know many dos and don't of painting but sometimes when i start painting, i tend to forget few of them. Thanks for pointing those out and the appreciation too.

I like your leaves and trunk shapes maybe more tones and colour in tree trunks , when you squint at the painting shows trunks as a whole shape (remember water colour will also show on some of the trunk ) also water will have some sky colour reflected in water (blue)

I love it Mandar!  I think you need to find a specific area that you want to have as your center of interest though and make that area pop, which you almost have with the leaves just above the center but perhaps a little more.  Fabulous job!
