Great job, Diane, on the rocks particularly. I had a really hard time with them.
Diane, I too felt a breath of relief with the open left side corner. I felt the photos for this month were so tight and stifling in the foreground. This is nice and open. I love the impressionistic feel of the rocks, especially on the left. I would lighten the value a step or two on the rocks to the right, especially the ones in the center to give even more open space and lead-in to the painting. I love your sand colors and nice feeling of depth throughout.
Very nice painting. Love your colors, the lay out and your style. Keep painting
i like the way you changed the bottom left hand corner...these things i'm learning, how to change things around to look a nicer painting. great, well done.
Hi Dianne this is lovely colours are beautiful I would like to see more of a pohutakawa look in that tree ??? They are starting to flower out our way now In 1 week it will be a spectacular show. Looking forward to your next attempt you prolific artist!!!!
