Chroma brought up just a bit under the mountain. Blue tarp on boat on right more intense. contrast softened on Mt, shadow side of Mt. lighter and more variant, shape more accurate on Mt. Some red in foreground water taken out. Thanks for all the help friends!

SOLD
Thank you, Olivia and Pete! Pete, I have signed it and it's for sale in the gallery 1/4 mile from where the reference pic was taken. Dating paintings on the front is actually a bad idea for sales.....it's like having an expiration date. I do keep records for myself, though.
A wonderful painting Britt
This "Mt. Rainier over Gig Harbor" painting is wonderful. I shows great water surface and reflections, great composition and understanding of linear and atmospheric perspective, and lots of vertifcals which research has show attract more viewer "Looking Time". Great Job - Congratulations! You should sign it and put the year you completed it.
I think the rain beats the winter we have had here. I was out there in the navy and loved it. Was in dry dock the other side of the bay from Seattle. And yes it is beautiful out there.
Thanks, John! The weather stinks this time of year .....this 9 month long time of year. But June, July, August...it's the most beautiful place in the world. ; )
Love this Britt. Would like to be there. My son lives in Seattle and I hope to get back out there soon.
Much better Britt! ....Mr. Rainier sits back in the atmosphere now.
