I like the way you've done the buildings and the stonework.
You have really nice reflections in the water. You did a great job on the sail, too!
The sails really stand out. Well done
I really like the greys in your colour palette and your lights on the buildings and the rocks.
Hello Chuck, very good painting. I especially like your water. Smiles for you :-)
Nice work Chuck, the rock break water is great ...I struggled with that .
I like your rock wall!
Nice work Chuck, I really like all the life you have in your shadows!
Hi Micheal. I tried to use the exact colors that Richard used in his palette. Exceptions, I don't have Cobalt violet and my Cad. yellow light is Cad yellow Light Pure from Utrecht. The very brightest part of the sail is almost straight out of that tube. Shadow side is yellow ochre, cad yellow, ultramarine blue for the cools. add cad orange for warm shadows. the sun lite building (If I remember right) is a touch of ultimate blue. to gray down the yellow ochre and lots of white. I hope this helps.
Hi Chuck. May I ask what yellow u used for the sail .. and did you use the same yellow for the sunlit areas of the buildings?
