At the Beach by Sharon Repple 10" x 8" acrylic
I've been trying to find time to paint this before the deadline but life has just been hectic. Well today I found some time so I asked myself "why not" even though the deadline has passed. This is a painting of my step-daughter and my grandkids. She had on a navy bathing suit but I changed it to white so that I could try all of the wonderful techniques Richard taught. Love this video, learned alot and really need to learn more about mixing skin tones. Thanks so much Richard

Love your comments Dorian, Lori and Waldi. Great privilege to have Richard critique one of my paintings. Always hope he can find parts to compliment along with the critiques and he did. He is a good teacher and encourager.
I missed seeing your painting in the lineup but I surely enjoyed seeing the critique. Wonderful painting!
Magnificent painting! Your step-daughter must be thrilled. I love the reflections in the water. Smiles :-)
I appreciate your wonderful comments Glenys, Cristina and Diane
A happy painting! Lovely!
gorgeous Sharon, beautiful harmony with your colours
Thanks so much Adrienne, Ann, Fay, Jessica, Silke and Donna. The most challenging part for me was the skin tones. Richard's color mixes were fantastic and gave me a direction to go in the future. Sorolla's paintings are amazing and inspiring.
This is wonderful. I love the way you rendered the children. I feel the joy at the beach.
