oil on stretched canvas 16" by 20". Expanded primary palette with warm an cool transparent yellow, red and blue plus premixed grays and titanium/zinc white. This is Point Lobos in the fog and the trees are California Cypress.

Beautiful, Stu.  Strong contrasts, without being strident. Subtle hints of colour, without being garish. Complex brushwork, without being flamboyant. And throughout, control, a measured pace, one passage building into the next, the drama rising. Excellent.
