Thank You All, and to you Cplleen, this is actually just one of my first paintings (old), painted following instructions and painting form Earl Daniels instructional book ("The Sea in Action "). He made also second book "The Seapower". They are nice - inspirational and probably cheap to by on amazon or ebay (they cost was 1$ first edition..dont espect too much - but I like them)

Beautiful movement in the water Karlo.  I have been down by the sea today looking at a similar scene and I think you have captured the water, rocks and atmosphere perfectly.  Congratulations, well done!

tremendous movement, migratory birds, halos around the crests.. the rocks look solid and meant to be there.. just wow...Your values are incredible as the shadows every so slightly creep up the rocks.. i can definitely tell where the light is coming from. Thank you for adding that mountain in the back ground..with everything else I cant help but wonder if there should be just a tad and I mean just a tad of detail just at the bottom where the water is crashing on its shoreline.. just a thought.

Thanks !

Yes this was the reason because I started painting (and waves too..)... I will post some more from this series .. I tried to find more info about this guy (Earl Daniels), but not really possible.. Interesting is that he was using painting knife for all painting (or mostly)..
