Thank you Elizabeth and Joy, I love color too. I want to paint where "color says it all", and I think Richard R does this. Joy, for so long I wanted to be a very detailed painter, and now I want to switch, but when I get stumped and am not sure what to do/ or / should I say, how to handle the situation in an impressionist way, I revert back. Errrrrrrr. Ro

Hi Roena, you are just a beautiful painter. You are doing what I am aspiring to do. Misty impressionist I call it. How lovely.

Thank you so much Richard. Good idea, and I agree of the need, but the painting is long gone. It is very helpful to have other's eyes see. I appreciate it very much. Ro

Hi Roena, great to see you breaking out like this. If it were mine I would touch the reds in the distance with a bit more sky color to stop them from intruding into the foreground. Love to see this sort of passion in a painting. Awesome!

Ginny, I would not change this painting as it is long gone. But, as I study color more and learn more I realize how to control it (LOL or at least try). Richard R. does a fine job of what I am talking about. Thanks for your comments. Ro

I would not tone it down!! Be yourself! Trust your intuition.... You will attract others who love color!
