9" by 12", oil on canvas panel, plein air, Richard Lindenberg palette (expanded primary plus). Cloudy day with sun breaking through. Day 2 AM of Richard Lindenberg plein air worjkshop--challenge was to paint this point with 4 value masses.

I really like this one Stu. I love your green colours and the darkest darks near the lightest light. It looks great - and plein air as well!

Thanks Ann.  The greens were mixed from indigo and cad yellow lemon, yellow orange or yellow ochre and from ultramarine blue plus the same three yellows with white added as necessary; this was the first time I had used indigo and I do like it for a cool, very dark blue.    Stu

I like the nice dark green against the softer purpelie grey farground
