Yes Deb, they are pretty birds.  They gather on power lines out West in large numbers and feed on grains in huge flock in the paddocks.  It's lovely to see them.  I even had one as a pet when I was a child.  They can be good talkers too! :-)

Beautifully painted Deb! We see these galahs in large flocks all of the time on our travels around Australia.

Hi Deb, I'm very jealous of your ability with acrylics! I went on a camping trip a few months ago and took acrylics for their fast drying properties. But I was disappointed with the results - they all looked dull and flat and I ended up overpainting them all in oils.

You very clearly have mastered the medium!
