11x14 oil on panel I am trying to make greens with thalo blue. It is a little hard to control but makes glowing greens. My limited palette was Thalo blue, Cad yellow light and Alizarin. I must confess that did sneek in a little Ult blue and Tit white. Questions, comment and suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful painting, Ann - I really like the soft foliage in the background & the sky.

very lovely Ann.. very soft and serene.  .I'd like to see yu break up the foreground values a touch.  Love Emile Gruppes work BTW!

Thank you Michael, Olivia and Silvana. I'm not familiar with Emile Gruppe but will enjoy googling him to see how he does it.

Really nice Ann!

I like the misty background and the overall softness. You managed to get some very nice colours for the roof given the limited palette. I would have considered the Tit White a given and not something needing to be sneaked in.!

Nice control of your greens Ann.  I really like the way you handled the atmosphere in the background ..good job.   Emile Gruppe used  thalo blue to make greens and ultramarine to make violets ...just a little factoid.
