Day's End by Sharon Repple acrylic 14 x 18
Workshop 26 revised! Thanks everyone for your great comments. Michael and Christine noticed the conflict between the foreground and sky so I re-stretched canvas and cut off about 4", made some changes and re Michael I took out some of the clouds that were leading the viewer out of the painting. I very pleased with the results but if you see something I missed, please let me know.

agree .. the sky looks too blue for this late in the day, but I love, love, love your fall trees and the actual sunset sun.

Sharon, this looks more beautiful. I like every art you have done. You are a great artist.

Sharon, It is very beautiful. one small thing,to me, the differences of the value of the sky and the clouds seems a bit too small at this hour. I am not very sure about my observation as it looks good.  I love those trees and interesting forground.

First I have looked at this, and it is gorgeous!  I just finished mine today (my third one)

Great idea, Michael, I think I'll try both.

By symmetrical, does Darya mean lined up vertically?  The brightest part of the sparkle is a little to the left . not really bothering me though.  If you want to correct it, put some warm white it the proper place or take that dark orange and glaze into the yellow reflection a little.  .....maybe do both?
