Thank you, Laura. Silvana, I call it a sunrise just because it is, or was. The picture was taken early in the morning on a lake in Finland. It is very misty. The light is soft and colours restrained. It will be a challenge to keep it that way, rather than getting more dramatic. But I love painting what I know and have a feel for, otherwise I feel very insecure (that's why painting from pictures, and particularly someone else's pictures is a real problem for me :-( ). Thank you for your very kind comments!

Great! I just wonder, why are you calling it sunrise? I have apainting, the first one I have painted, which I don't know if it is a sunset or a sunrise. Which are the colour differences? Do you know?
