M.Graham Oils on canvas pad, 28x31 cm
Gave it a second try to change the mood a bit, but again turned out different from what I intended - learning goes on.

Thank you both :-) I am not sure if I understand "old world feeling" right. Do you mean like dinosaurs living there or not that old?

Silke, I love this painting. Can't stop enjoying it. It has such an old world feel to it. Beautiful!

I love this. It has a lyrical, mystical quality. The colors echo throughout the painting.

Thank you all. Yes Montalvo, I wanted to have it a story. Painting is a language of its own and one can tell stories with it. I am still learning the vocabulary and grammar, so the story did not turn out 100 % as I intended to. But I do not mind. That is what I could do now and I learned from doing it.

Silke... you know what I like about your painting? The depth. IT has a story. That's good. I like the composition. I can see your brush strokes..that's a plus and the oils.  Thanks for sharing.

Wow! It's a very energetic painting. The combination of colour saturation and  movement in the sky gives such an energy to your painting (at least that is what I feel). :)
