Field of Lavender Revised

I changed a few things on this one and only use a large and medium brush. I'm going to do another large painting keeping the things that you said to do in mind, Richard. Thanks:)

I really like everything about the painting, the lavender, the path & the houses in the distance. Maybe you could break up the straight lines a little if you added some trees on one side, but I really don't know if that would work or even be an improvement! It's lovely just as it is, anyway!

I thought about that and actually had the right side of the top of the lavender higher, but when I took a photo of it on my phone it made it look kind of lopsided. I've never used this format of canvas before and it's definitely been a challenge. I only have one more this size and don't think I'll be buying more any time soon! I get what you're saying though. It's too much like stripes. Is there anything else I might change while I'm at it? Thanks!:)

Just wondering if you might want to make the top of the lavender field slightly less horizontal, so you don't have equal parallel blocks of colour (sky/grassy field/lavender). But I do like it as it is too, so not sure if it matters! There's something pleasing about the symmetry too!
